Biimenyimana alerting European suitors

In May, the Kaizer Chiefs top brass indicated Caleb Bimenyimana was no longer part of their first-team plans for next season. That, after a fairly inconsistent first campaign at Naturena. He scored eight goals across all competitions, with five coming from the penalty spot, but just one since the turn of the year. That was against Casric FC in the Nedbank Cup round of 16.

According to iDiski Times reports, the Burundian striker rejected an opening approach from an unnamed Ukrainian club.

Bimenyimana was on the score sheet for Burundi in their crunch 3-2 win over Peter Shalulile’s Namibia on Tuesday. It keeps their hopes of qualifying for AFCON 2023 very much alive. Is his Chiefs career over though?
