It’s a must-win match for Kaizer Chiefs who need all three points to secure a top 8 finish and a spot in next season’s lucrative MTN8 tournament.

For Spurs, it is a game of pride as they will not want to bow out of the top-flight without a fight.

Tickets still on sale

Kaizer Chiefs are in eighth place in the standings with 36 points after 29 matches, while Cape Town Spurs are 16th with 20 points from the same number of outings.

After one season in the top-flight, the Cape Town side will return to the lower Motsepe Foundation League next season.

They will be replaced in the DStv Premiership by Magesi FC.

Heading into the match there has been little good news on the injury front for the Glamour Boys.

George Matlou, Keagan Dolly, Reeve Frosler, Dillan Solomons and Tebogo Potsane are still nursing an assortment of ailments.

In addition, defender, Edmilson Dove, will also miss his third game in a row after he picked up his second red card of the season against TS Galaxy two weeks ago.

Tickets for the match at the Cape Town Stadium are on sale through TicketPro online at or Spar and Boxer Supermarkets, as well as Sasol and Shell filling stations, including Postnet outlets throughout the country at R100 per ticket.
