Ryk is a renowned financial journalist with over 25 years of experience. He is currently the editor at Moneyweb and hosts RSG Geldsake, the leading business radio show in South Africa.
Prior to his tenure at Moneyweb starting in 2011, he held the position of national editor for Media24’s daily business publications.
Ryk is a distinguished public speaker and facilitator, frequently sharing his insights on political and economic issues in various local and international media. He focuses on financial investigative journalism and has received multiple journalism awards during his career.
He earned an MBL from Unisa and a cum laude M.Phil in Journalism from Stellenbosch University.
