A source disclosed to The Sun: “Andy’s relationship with Lou attracts a considerable amount of unwanted attention.
“He was called in by the manager and advised to tone it down.
“But Andy is enamored with Lou. The warning fell on deaf ears.”
The former Liverpool and Newcastle striker joined non-league Dagenham & Redbridge FC this summer.
He suffered an injury during training, which will keep him sidelined until next month.
Rather than prioritizing his recovery in East London, he decided to whisk Lou off to Ibiza.
Earlier this month, The Sun on Sunday reported that the couple had reconciled after a tumultuous breakup, with Andy vowing to curb his alcohol intake to mend their relationship.
An insider noted: “Andy should be focusing on his recovery, but he’s willing to do whatever it takes to please Lou.
“It doesn’t send a good message—especially after he was reprimanded, but he regrets their breakup, and she seeks reassurance that he’s ready to make sacrifices for her.
“Lou enjoys vacations, so despite the expectations for him to be at training, he jetted off to Ibiza.
“He’s aware that traveling abroad while injured might stir controversy, but he is completely under Lou’s charm. Whatever she asks, he complies.”
