The Dutch star, currently navigating a marriage separation, was visibly moved as his daughter joined him on stage to celebrate.
Zoe even assisted in raising the golden trophy while her father conversed with Littler before they posed for photos.
Van Gerwen earned £80,000 for his triumph and shared, “We all know the challenges I’ve faced these past months.
“Winning in front of my home crowd is incredibly meaningful to me.
“I played exceptional darts that fueled my energy and determination.
“Things have shifted for me. Zoe said, ‘Daddy, I want to come with you this weekend.’ I replied, ‘Of course, you can come.’

In a rematch of January’s World Championships final, MVG capitalized on a slightly out-of-form Littler, claiming five of the last six legs.
Littler faced jeers from the home crowd but engaged in playful banter before the Dutchman took control.
The Nuke, who pocketed £40k, commented, “I told Michael right there, he’s playing some of his finest darts. He’s had a challenging time, but it’s encouraging to see him back.
“If he maintains this level of play, we’re in for some thrilling matchups.
“It was a fantastic tournament, but the fans were cheering for Michael. He’s been exceptional this weekend.”
