Durban Car Accident: Paramedics Discover Motorist with Gunshot Injuries

Durban – A male driver in his 30s was tragically shot at the junction of Campbell Road and Clark Road in the Umbilo area of Durban.

At the scene, spokesperson Garrith Jamieson stated that ALSParamedics arrived following reports of an accident around 7 PM on Saturday, 27 September 2025.

“Paramedics found that a vehicle had collided with pillars at the roadside,” Jamieson reported.

“Upon further examination by the paramedics, they discovered a man believed to be in his 30s who had suffered gunshot wounds to his upper body.”

“Sadly, the individual displayed no signs of life and was pronounced dead at the scene.”

The police were present and had secured the area.

The identity of the deceased has not been released.

As of now, no arrests have been made, and the motive behind the shooting remains unknown.
