Newcastle United’s Joe Willock Hits a Comical Snag as His £200k Porsche Runs Out of Gas on a Roundabout
NEWCASTLE United’s Joe Willock found himself in a tricky situation when his £200,000 Porsche ran out of fuel.
The £80,000-a-week athlete was spotted by fans after his sports car, capable of 199mph, stalled at a roundabout.

In a video, Willock, 26, wearing a Newcastle training top and black joggers, was seen refueling his vehicle with a green petrol can.
In the clip shared online, a bystander comments, “You should head to the garage.”
Willock replies, “Yeah, hopefully, or else I’ll be f*g pushing it.”
Embarrassed, Joe thanked the fans and continued on his way last Sunday. A viewer joked, “Hahahahah poor Joe Willock.”
Another quipped, “So much money and still running the car on empty.”
Others pointed out that Willock’s Porsche 911 GT3 was just a short distance from a garage in Cowgate, Newcastle.
Earlier this year, Willock’s teammate Dan Burn was seen aiding a stranded motorist by pushing a car in the city.
Recalling Burn’s helpfulness, a fan remarked about Willock’s incident: “I expected Dan Burn to be pushing his car down the street; I’m mildly disappointed.”
Willock, a former England under-21 player, joined Newcastle on loan from Arsenal in January 2021 and later signed a permanent deal in August for £25 million over six years.
