Durban: Two Young Men Die in Midnight N2 Crash

Durban – In the early hours of Saturday, 2 May 2026, two men in their 20s tragically lost their lives when their car rolled off the N2 North Bound at the M7 offramp.

According to ALS Paramedics spokesperson Garrith Jamieson, the catastrophic accident occurred during the night.

“When paramedics arrived, they encountered a scene of devastation, with a vehicle that had somehow veered off the N2 Freeway and rolled multiple times, ultimately coming to rest on its side,” Jamieson reported.

“It is believed that both occupants were ejected during the incident.”

“Tragically, both men sustained fatal injuries, and despite efforts, paramedics were unable to save them, leading to their declaration of death at the scene.”

Law enforcement was also present at the location.
