Derek McInnes and his team experienced a gut-wrenching defeat in the Premiership title battle on the last day, as Celtic — backed by 60,000 supporters — overtook the Jambos to clinch yet another Premiership title.

Lawrence Shankland had given the visitors an unexpected lead late in the first half, surprising the home fans, but Celtic quickly equalized with a penalty converted by Arne Engels after a handball by the Jambos.
As the match progressed, Martin O’Neill’s side intensified their efforts for a winner, which they achieved through Daizen Maeda just minutes before the 90-minute mark.
In the final moments, while Hearts sought a leveler, Celtic counterattacked and Callum Osmand sealed the game with a goal into an empty net amidst a frenzied celebration.
As fans flooded onto the pitch, there was confusion about whether the final whistle had been blown, but eventually, Don Robertson confirmed the match’s end, leading to euphoria among Celtic supporters.
