Young Artists from Pretoria Set to Showcase at Woodlands Boulevard
Pretoria – This month, some of the most captivating art in Pretoria has been crafted by children under 13.
From Friday, 22 May to Sunday, 31 May 2026, Woodlands Boulevard will host the 4th Annual Primary Schools’ Art Exhibit, a complimentary community showcase featuring artwork from 18 local primary schools displayed throughout the mall.
For many young artists participating, this marks their first experience of presenting their creations to a public audience.
This opportunity is something Woodlands Boulevard values deeply.
“Art provides children a voice that extends well beyond the classroom, and witnessing their work displayed in a communal space is truly special,” said Barbara Perry, Marketing Manager at the mall.
“For many of these children, this is the first time anyone outside their school will see their work.
“We believe that kind of recognition is significant, which is why this exhibition has become such an integral component of our community initiatives.”
Each participating school contributes up to 20 artwork pieces per grade, showcasing creative expressions from Grade 0 to Grade 7 throughout the length of the mall.
Schools participating this year include:
- American International School of Johannesburg (Pretoria Campus),
