Mysterious Discovery: Three Bodies Burned Beyond Recognition Found in Hazyview Bushland

Hazyview – Authorities have discovered three bodies, charred beyond recognition, in a bush area in Hazyview, Mpumalanga, raising fears that they could be kidnapping victims.

Reports indicate that three individuals were abducted several days ago in Mbombela (Nelspruit).

The macabre finding occurred earlier today, Wednesday, 22 April 2026, in Hazyview, near Bushbuckridge.

Mpumalanga Police Spokesperson Colonel Mavela Masondo stated: “Three individuals were located in the bush, in Hazyview, burnt beyond recognition.”

“An investigation is currently underway to determine if these victims are the same three individuals who were allegedly kidnapped in Nelspruit on 14 April 2026.”

Colonel Masondo also disclosed that a 29-year-old male is in custody for questioning related to the kidnapping and murder.
