Sky Sports Star, TNT Sports Commentator, and Former England Legends Unveiled as Part of Exclusive World Cup Broadcasting Team

FOX SPORTS has announced their commentary team for the 2026 World Cup, showcasing a host of familiar personalities.

The network will present nine commentary duos, with Owen Hargreaves teaming up with TNT’s Darren Fletcher as the lead pair.

Other recognizable names for British fans include former England goalkeeper Rob Green, ex-Stoke defender Danny Higginbotham, and former Newcastle defender Warren Barton.

Additionally, English commentators Derek Rae, Ian Crocker, Ian Darke, and Jacqui Oatley will also be part of the coverage.

From the American side, former internationals like Stu Holden, Cobi Jones, Maurice Edu, Lori Lindsey, and football icon Landon Donovan will contribute their voices.

Two rules analysts, former referees Dr. Joe Machnik and Mark Clattenburg, will provide commentary on any controversial decisions during the matches.

This World Cup will be historic as it is the first occasion that 48 teams will compete, resulting in a remarkable number of matches.

A total of 104 games will be hosted across the United States, Mexico, and Canada, with the final match scheduled to take place at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Out of this unprecedented number of games, 70 will be aired on Fox’s primary channel, while the remaining 34 will be broadcast on FS1. All matches will also be available for live streaming via Fox One and the Fox Sports App.

Brad Zager, president and executive producer of Fox Sports, remarked that they have put together their ‘dream team’ for this event.
