Limpopo Teen Detained Following Allegations of Rape Involving Two Boys (Aged 8 and 14)
An 18-year-old male has been detained in connection with the alleged assault of two boys in a village near Tzaneen, Limpopo.
As reported by the South African Police Service (SAPS), the victims, aged eight and 14, were reportedly sharing a room with the suspect, who is said to be their cousin.

Police spokesperson Malesela Ledwaba confirmed that the suspect was caught following a manhunt.

“Initial investigations revealed that both victims were sharing a room with their 18-year-old cousin, who is the main suspect in this case.
“The suspect is said to have threatened the victims against revealing the incidents. However, the older victim eventually informed his mother, which led to an immediate report to the local police. A manhunt was initiated, resulting in the suspect’s capture,” Ledwaba stated.

Authorities noted that the older child prompted the alert to his parents, which initiated the investigation.
Suspect Set to Appear in Court
The suspect is anticipated to appear in court shortly, facing charges related to the alleged crimes.
