Edwin Sodi Faces Potential Auction of Dainfern Home Due to Unpaid Levies

Controversial entrepreneur Edwin Sodi may face the loss of his prestigious Dainfern property due to unpaid estate levies.

Reports indicate that the Borgo de Felice estate’s body corporate has turned to the Johannesburg High Court, requesting an order to compel Sodi’s firm, Blackhead Consulting, to clear arrears totaling R345,483.

This total could escalate to around R480,000 when accounting for interest and legal expenses.

Body Corporate Aims to Auction Edwin Sodi’s Property

A trustee representing the estate’s body corporate stated that the application includes a plea for the property to be auctioned in order to recover the overdue amount.

The trustee noted that legal measures were initiated after numerous attempts to reach Sodi proved fruitless.

Concerns have also been raised regarding the property being unoccupied for a significant duration.

The trustee reported that the house has stood empty for over two years.
